Who doesn’t enjoy a good walk down memory lane–especially when it includes warm weather, good music and breakfast tacos? We’ve been indulging in a little SXSW nostalgia ourselves over the last month, recalling the most exciting, awe-inspiring moments from our last 4 SXSW events.
Back in 2013, we thought nothing could top a 90s throwback performance from Third Eye Blind at the Pandora Discovery Den. That is, until the party was shut down by Austin PD because fans were pouring out of the venue and blocking the street. That’s how hard we partied! Then, in 2015 our SXSW Interactive guests were treated to an exclusive show from the DJ behind everyone’s favorite Bruno Mars song, Mark Ronson. Finally, we’ll never forget the jaw drop moment when Steve Aoki stopped by our house not to perform, but to just enjoy some music. Ya…that was pretty cool too!
Take a peek at all our favorite #TBT moments from past SXSW amazingness as we countdown to SXSW 2017. And be sure to follow along with all of this year’s action by following @PandoraBrands and #PandoraSXSW on Twitter.
That brings us to 2017
While there’s no way to know what unforgettable moments are in store for us this year, we’re already betting on this one being pretty spectacular!
If you’re planning to attend SXSW (and we hope you are!), be sure to catch Pandora at any of the below speaking sessions and events. We’ll be chatting about the importance of audio and music in our lives, as well as hosting some amazing musical talent at the Gatsby on 708 E. 6th Street. I wouldn’t miss it if I were you. ;)
