A record-breaking number of music fans came out for Pandora’s 2019 El Pulso event at the Academy LA. Since El Pulso is one of Pandora’s top stations for Latin music, it’s no wonder why so many fans showed up to witness two of the hottest artists – Farruko and Paloma Mami– take the stage.
Paloma Mami, performing for the first time in the US, kicked off the show with her popular singles, such as “Fingías.” Fans sung along to her string of hits before headliner Farruko took the stage.
Fresh off his North American tour, the singer performed songs from his latest album, Gangalee, for the excited crowd. Farruko sang hits including “Calma (Remix),” “Delincuente,” “Nadie,” and more. After his amazing set, he was presented with a plaque celebrating over a billion spins on Pandora!
While the artists brought electrifying energy, sponsors enhanced the night with custom activations and free giveaways for fans. As the presenting sponsor, 76® rewarded five lucky fans and their +1s with a pre-show meet & greet with Farruko and Paloma! Other attendees weren’t left out – they were given cool branded phone accessories. Guests practiced dance moves in a music video booth by McDonald’s®, and engaged with the brand on social media to receive a front row spot to watch Paloma and Farruko up close! To share the artists’ excitement with fans, Dominican American actress and TV host, Clarissa Molina, interviewed the stars before the show. They chatted in front of a Visible branded set, that was also a backdrop for fan photos later. Fans enjoyed fun activations and free swag from other sponsors, including El Mexicano®, Nissan®, and TitleMax.
