Pandora Presents: Backroads proved once again that Nashville loves country music. Not even record-cold temperatures could keep music-lovers from lining up hours before doors opened.
Once inside, fans were treated to an immersive multimedia event headlined by country music superstar, Jason Aldean, supported by Steven Lee Olsen. Marathon Music Works was transformed with unique and utility-based activations such as a 3D porch swing photo booth, an embossing station where fans were able to personalize a leather coaster with their initials, plus complimentary food and drinks. Sponsors included Advance Auto Parts, Amica Insurance, Ashley HomeStore, Goodys, Krystal, Mid-South Ford Dealers, Ocean Spray, Sierra Trading Post, and Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning.
Jason Aldean played a phenomenal 90-minute set to 927 attendees, including his most passionate listeners on Pandora and key industry and national press outlets. Before he took the stage, he was presented with a Billionaire plaque during his Meet & Greet with clients, industry executives, and sweepstakes winners.
Steven Lee Olsen chatted with guests at one of our GA bars after his opening set, and Nashville country music star Dustin Lynch stopped by to hang out with our VIP guests in our Premier section!
Throughout the event, Pandora celebrated our Sound On campaign by giving away “Sound On” branded bluetooth speakers as a special gift for attendees who visited all of our sponsors’ activations. It was a great way to encourage interaction with the activations offered throughout the venue, reward our guests for being listeners, and promote Pandora’s new brand campaign.
Crowd engagement was off the charts for our sponsors — Ashley HomeStore had lines all night at their leather coaster-embossing station, and Krystal’s complimentary food samples received rave reviews from guests. In addition, Mid-South Ford Dealers surprised on lucky fan with an onstage announcement and a beautiful D’Angelico guitar signed by Jason Aldean himself!
At Pandora’s experiential events fans get to experience one-of-a-kind concerts by their favorite artists for free, and sponsors get to make real connections with consumers by presenting their products and campaign messaging in memorable ways. It’s a win-win!
